Addresses come from VAN (Voter Activation Network), the voter database campaigns use, which is built from the Colorado voter registration list, a public record under C.R.S. 1-2-227, and mail ballot return data, which is public under C.R.S. 1-7.5-106.5. Only voters whose ballot has not yet been received are shown. Once a ballot is returned, that voter drops off at the next update.

The list is refreshed every few days, so some people shown may have already voted. Be polite and thank them either way.

This tool does not include how anyone voted, phone numbers, emails, or any ID numbers.

House and apartment labels are estimates based on whether the address has a unit number.

• Always seek permission before entering private property.
• Obey no-soliciting and no-trespassing signs.
• If you do not feel safe, leave.
• Apartments often require buzzer access. Do not enter without permission.

Colorado election rules for volunteers

• Carrying ballots: you may deliver a voter's ballot for them, but no one may take more than 10 ballots for delivery in an election (C.R.S. 1-7.5-107(4)(b)).
• No pressure: remind, don't push. Voters don't have to say whether or how they voted, and pressuring or intimidating a voter is a crime (C.R.S. 1-13-713).
• If asked, give your name and the organization you're volunteering with.
